The Renowned manufacturer of Power supply's and memory stick's has announced an officially entry into the ssd market.the news about corsair getting into the ssd market was announced quite a while back, but now they have released a 128GB SSD officially.
The SSD released is a 2.5-inch sdd based on Samsung 30nm 64Gbit MLC NAND flash and its been named S128.features maximum sequential read speeds of 90MB/s and maximum sequential write speeds of 70MB/s.
Moreover, the S128 is equipped with a Samsung controller as opposed to the often-used JMicron 602 controller. This ensures more consistent performance in everyday usage, as there have been issues with the JMicron controller in the past.
